Course A: $299
​Online Classes,
Parent-led Driving Lessons
with Instructor Driving Evaluation near you!

Available to all Iowa students!

Course Components
1. 30 hours FLEXIBLE, self-paced online classes

2. Parent led driving lessons 5 hours

3. Final driving lesson/evaluation near you with a
​Drive Right Instructor.
Upon successful completion of all 3 components, students will receive their IDOT Certificate of Completion to get their SMRL or Intermediate License.

Driving Instructor Officer Kyle Lovan. Kyle has been a police officer since 1997. He serves the Newton Police Department as a School Resource Officer. “I like teaching drivers education because what better way to have a positive relationship with the kids than to teach them how to be a safe driver on the roads."
